Jiffy is a big beautiful sound mare that is currently being hauled. She was not started till she was almost 4, lightly entered as a 5 yr old. Is currently clocking in the 1d/2d and I know I have not reached her full potential. This mare is ALL business on the pattern. She is the most athletic horse I have been on around the barrels and is not for someone afraid of speed or turning with speed, as she is going to try her hardest whether you're in the middle or not. Jiffy had a nice start with Cody Mora and although we took it slow with her, once she figured out the barrels and running, loping in circles in the arena is not her favorite. To keep her leg up, I trot or lope on the track, lunge, trail ride, trot drills in the arena. She is a kind sweet mare, gets along with other mares turned out. Easy on the ground, shots & farrier ect... Currently regular maintenance. Hocks & stifles done by Dr. Sharp in October, only slightly showed signs of needing them done. No special shoeing, no special diet, has never had muscle or colic issues. Nice feet, strong bone. I felt lasix made her anxious, she is on Race Today and given a lung support before a run (equipulmin or similar). This mare needs an athlete on her back and is only available due to needing to sell something in the barn for our bank account. Possibly entertain a partial payment with a 3-4 yr old nicely riding mare. She will also make an excellent mom in the future, the crosses in my head are always swirling Trial Fee
