Meet HP Guys Slick Design

HP is quick-footed, easygoing, kind-hearted, and one that absolutely loves his job. He is always ready to go to work and do business, with a heart that is truly second to none. This horse would run through fire for his person. He gives you absolutely everything he has every time, while remaining incredibly aware, thoughtful, and level-headed, always looking out for both himself and his rider. HP is the kind of horse that is hard to come by, and even harder to replace. He has all the talent, try, heart, and ability you could ask for, and I genuinely believe he deserves the opportunity to go on and accomplish big things. From the very beginning, HP has proven himself to be a winner, and I have no doubt his best days are still ahead of him. Performance: Proven 1D/2D Super Show Gelding, now seasoning to the rodeos and absolutely loving every minute of it. HP had a limited (through no fault of his own), but very successful futurity year in 2025. Some notable accomplishments include qualifying for the Breeder Challenge Futurity Finale, placing 10th in the first go of the BBR Futurity and 15th in the average, Reserve Amateur Futurity Champion at the PB, and 6th in the 2D average of the PB Futurity. Unfortunately, the remainder of his futurity season was cut short with BFA/OKC/Etc. being canceled, leaving plenty of opportunity ahead for this talented gelding. Since then, HP has kicked off his first derby year and added rodeos to his schedule, taking it all in stride and loving every minute of it. He has already earned multiple 2D Derby titles and consistently placed in the top ten of the Open at multiple jackpots. Most recently, after making the switch to the left barrel in August 2026, he has continued to prove just how talented and adaptable he is, maintaining his success with top-15 Open and Derby finishes. At his most recent run at the PB, he clocked a 17.2 and placed in the top 40 in the Derby with fewer than eight runs under his belt going left. His ability to make the transition and continue producing results speaks volumes about his athleticism, trainability, and natural talent. Just to name a few 2026 Stats - -2D Reserve Average Wild Card Race Derby -6th place Old Fort Days amateur derby finale -2D derby champ & 3rd open Tracey Henderson Memorial -5th Open True Texas Project race at NRS - 3rd in Derby sidepot -12th overall at IPRA Temple Shrine Rodeo - Breeder Challenge Amateur Derby Finale & Open Qualifier - 7th in Derby at NBHA Colonial Nationals - - 5th in Derby - Double D Futurity/Derby Race HP is a proven winner with an exceptional pedigree to match. He comes from proven sire and dam lines, with over $30,000 in QData earnings adding to the strength of his performance record and bloodlines. His siblings have been bringing high-dollar prices, which comes as absolutely no surprise to me. The pedigree, performance, and potential are all there. His bloodlines speak for themselves, and this is one exceptional package from top to bottom. He is the kind of horse that has the talent, mind, and pedigree to make a lasting impact wherever his future takes him. He requires regular maintenance throughout the year. PPE is encouraged at the buyer's expense. A deposit is required to try him. Serious inquiries only. This is a truly special horse, and finding him the right loving home is just as important as finding him the right opportunity. He deserves someone who will appreciate everything he has to offer and take him on to do the big things I know he is capable of.
