One Times A Charm will charm anyone she meets with her talent and personality. This mare is a beautiful 10-year-old Bay roan. She has a nice big stocky frame at 14 hands. Charm’s great confirmation can win in a halter class, and her athletic ability is winning in speed events. Charm has collected wins in Team sorting, one man team sorting, local trail shows, local Playday events and several Pole bending events. Charm has excelled at pole bending and has won the 1D at several jackpots. Look her up on SPG Events to see her earnings. Being realistic I do not have the pole bending opportunities for her in Oklahoma. This mare will take a rider to the pay window on a regular basis. She is perfect for Youth and Highschool Rodeo as she will be at least a two-event horse. She could learn goat tying easily, already excels at pole bending and is ready to go into training for breakaway but could be a Head or Heel horse as well. Charm loves the opportunity to chase a cow and has been roped off of in the pasture and small arena. Along with competing, she is also a great horse to ride down the trail, she will pony another horse, rides a novice reining pattern, western dressage, is willing to jump, has been ridden on the roadside, done obstacle courses, many parades and has carried flags during rodeo performances. Charm is a sweet and personable horse she loves to be around people. She is easy for the shoer, loves to be groomed, bathed, and has great ground manners. She loads and travels like a champ, I have hauled her for 2.5 hours and competed in a pole bending jackpot and won the 1D. I am not offering this mare as a Barrel horse, Charm is cutting/reining horse bred and will never be fast enough to outrun race bred horses. She is fast on the poles because she is tighter in the pole pattern than race bred horses. It is not fair to push a horse not capable of going any faster and crippling them. She is too talented in the events she likes and will try her hardest for someone that treats her well. I will give access to her entire medical record, I have only taken her to one vet, to seriously interested parties. UTD on all vaccinations, regular shoeing, teeth done yearly, Coggins is current. This is not a beginner’s horse. Charm will be a great step up for a young person that wants to have a horse that likes to go and do. She has lots of power but will listen to a rider that treats her like a friend. No jerking, whipping or sharp spurs needed.
