Porter is a fancy broke sensitive, gelding not for the faint of heart. He needs a calm, quiet hand that is handy and experienced not for the nervous timid riders that being said when you know what you’re doing he’s very fun. He’s done breakaway roping, sorting, Barrel racing, ranch work, trails, obstacle courses etc. even loves to swim! Porter has a few cons and that’s the reason he’s priced lower. He recently was diagnosed with kissing spine in two spots. No need for surgery just inject under Xray once a year. He just passed a soundness exam with flying colors.! And was injected in his back. So he’s good to go! Because he went undiagnosed for so long he has become on the muscle and needs worked through it. I’ve owned him for 5 years and he just gets my anxiety up to much to help him. This is gonna be a steal of a horse for the right person! He is FUN! Just gotta get his anxiety under control. I’ve won about $2500 on him barrel racing and he shows huge potential to be a faster. I’m just not handy enough for him. Or take him back in the roping pen! Or just have yourself a solid ranch horse. I’ve used him to pony naughty colts and restart horses using him. Will be working on riding videos but at the moment I only have barrel racing videos.
