JMF Azularoo Carmine "Bartender" is a 2013 AQHA red roan gelding with the kind of résumé that speaks for itself. If you're looking for a versatile, seasoned gelding that has truly done a little bit of everything, Bartender is your guy. A finished head horse, Bartender shines in the roping pen and would love to find a home where he'll get to do what he enjoys most—heading. With a little tuning on his stop, he also has the potential to make a very nice breakaway horse. Beyond roping, he is a finished barrel and pole horse, although he'll be the first to tell you that barrels aren't his favorite job. His versatility doesn't stop there. Bartender has been used extensively in lesson programs with riders as young as four years old, carrying everyone from complete beginners learning the basics to more advanced riders refining their skills. He would also make an outstanding ranch or trail horse for someone looking for a dependable, experienced partner. Bartender is incredibly intelligent, full of personality, and a joy to have around the barn. He leads, loads into anything, lunges, and will stand tied all day. His only quirk is that he prefers not to be tied while his girth is being tightened in the barn. We simply saddle him, untie him to tighten the cinch, then either tie him back or step on, and it's never been an issue. In the pasture, Bartender is the boss. He sits at the top of the pecking order and carries himself with confidence among the herd. His only maintenance is routine hock injections if he is being campaigned in speed events. Bartender is the kind of horse that's hard to replace—a dependable, experienced gelding with years of knowledge and a willing attitude. While he's capable of many jobs, we'd especially love to see him go to a home where he'll get to spend his days in the roping pen doing what he enjoys most.
